Brand awareness and recognition at tradeshows are common challenges and key parts of Nutrien Premium Fertilizer Technologies’ (NPFT) strategy to remain top-of-mind for growers and influential agriculture leaders.
For the 2023-2024 tradeshow season we created something unique for Smart Nutrition MAP+MST – we introduced a new character, “Sulpho,” who helps our audience relate to and remember what the Smart Nutrition MAP+MST product is, while reminding them to check out the website or talk to a sales representative about the product.
The goals of these new promotional items were to:
- Increase brand awareness through high quality swag given to growers and other influential agriculture leaders.
- Increase brand awareness through development of unique promotional items that would start conversations and drive traffic to the booth.
The Hawaiian shirts, socks and stress Balls have been successful swag items, and we’ve had requests for these to be handed out our up-and-coming agricultural tradeshows. Hawaiian shirts are back in fashion (or maybe they never left). Many people visited the NPFT booths hoping to get their hands on a shirt or socks for themselves because they saw someone wearing an item on the show grounds. We had one customer tell us they’d be handing out the stress balls as stocking stuffers this year.
Selecting fun and unique promotional items accomplished our brand awareness goals and generated a lot of buzz for show-goers seeking out the swag at tradeshows across North America.
